My Aunt Thyagie, who gave me this recipe, says this is a favorite among the many tourists who come to Sri Lanka. It can be enjoyed with rice and curries or a slice of bread.
Ingredients
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon crushed cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon jalapeno, minced
- 3 1/2 tablespoons shallots, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
