Chili and Onion Sambol (Lunu Miris)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup crushed cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • Lemon juice to taste

Directions

  • 1)

    Place all the ingredients in a mini food processor and blend.

  • 2)

    Then place in a mortar. Grind and pound with the pestle until it forms a paste.

  • 3)

    The flavors will fully incorporate the following day.
