Curry Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 large Russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Patak's Hot Curry Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon Indian chili powder (ground cayenne)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

Directions

  • 1)

    Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut into half-inch thick French fries and place in a bowl. Do not wet or rinse.

  • 2)

    Mix oil, curry paste, turmeric, black pepper and chili powder in a small bowl.

  • 3)

    Using kitchen gloves, massage mixture into fries. Add salt.

  • 4)

    Air-fry at 400° F for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • 5)

    For the last 3 minutes of air-frying, add the garlic to the top of the fries.
